Three or More Tuesday

Today I would like to share the flowers my sweet husband got me for Valentine’s day…

Stargazer lilies…. some of my favorite flowers! There are three blooms….. but look at all the buds that will be blooming soon!

    They really do smell nice. Our kids sent us lilies for Valentine's day, too and a couple have just opened sending out their lovely fragrance! Beautiful Susan. happy 3 to you !!

    Ummm... Stargazer Lilies are one of my favorites. Gorgeous blooms, and with the ones still in bud you will have flowers for a long time. Beautiful. A good choice by your husband!

    I bought my sister some of those and the scent was wonderful. The scent magnified when all the buds opened! I am glad you have the name of them because I forgot to ask at the florist shop.

    Susan, those are GORGEOUS, and you're right, they smell divine! Your husband was so sweet to give you these. I love beautiful fragrant flowers like those with that gorgeous color!

    Stargazer lilies are a favorite of almost everyone. The smell is wonderful. The only down side is that the pollen will stain everything it comes in contact with - your nose, the tablecloth, etc. Whenever I have lilies, I cut the anther off. (That is the orange part at the tip of the stamen.)
