ReplyDeleteI love toile especially in drapes and in fabric. I guess the most popular is in dishes. Lovely examples.

Hi Susan
ReplyDeleteI love blue toile also. The toile you are showing is soooo lovely! Oh my. Even one wall of the wallpaper would look lovely...hmmmm..now where did I see that lately. It was lovely.

Hello Susan! I've always enjoyed Toile even before I knew what it was called or how to pronounce it!! :0)

ReplyDeleteI agree with you. There is something about Toile. I like it in black and white, in red,.... I just like it. I gravitate to it in fabric stores.

Susan,
ReplyDeleteAs a fellow lover of toile, I ate up your post. There are so many scenes to choose from and each photo was prettier the next.
By the way, you have quite a list of Georgia bloggers. If you have a get~together you will have to rent out a stadium! :-)

ReplyDeleteI love toile! When I was growing up, my grandmother had four large windows in her dining room with floor length blue toile drapes. I always told her when she changed them I wanted to make a dress out of them like Scarlett in GWTW or Maria in The Sound of Music. She was horrified and never changed them!!!!! :D Jewel
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! What great different examples. Happy Blue Monday.
ReplyDeleteWith your blue and white dishes, I'd love to see some blue toile napkins. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.

Hi Susan--
ReplyDeleteI've dropped by your blog several times today and tried to leave messages but the word verification always came up blank. I wanted to tell you that those blue toile fabrics are lovely and that I could see any of them decorating the sidebars of your blog.
Have a good week☺

Cool stuff. Looks like the old cyanotype photo prints of the 1800's. You can print those on fabric I know... Hmm...
ReplyDeleteUmmm... toile. Can't get enough.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning~ ~I covered my diningroom chairs in this exact fabric, except mine is in red, and I just love it. Come on over and have a look.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric is a Waverely print and we have an outlet store nearby so I got a really great deal.
