One of my favorite blooming trees.. Crepe Myrtles. Wow those in the second and third photos are bursting with blooms. My grandparents had a few in their yard but didn't keep it cut back so it grew HUGE.. one of the largest I've ever seen. I prefer them cut back like those you have posted. Thanks for sharing their beauty. As I said earlier.. keeping you all in my prayers..God Bless!

Susan,
I am so sorry about your MIL. I can say I truly know what she is going though as I did almost the same thing two years ago fracturing mine in 2 places. I pray she does well. It is amazing what they can do with a great surgeon. As of yesterday, mine still hasn't fused. But I am functioning and trying to stay positive.
Your crape myrtles are absolutley gorgeous! Just another treasure of the south!
Hugs and good luck this week!

Your crepe myrtles are beautiful. They remind me of our trips every summer to NC. My mother has tried and tried to get one to grow, but we are just too far north :( It was great seeing all your sunshine too, it just keeps raining off and on here in PA. I guess you have to take the good with the bad :)

Love the pics of the crepe myrtle pics. Ours are no where near ready to bloom, which is fine as we have the dreaded Japanese beetles and they feast on the CMs when they bloom. Maybe the beetles will be declining by the time the flowers show up. :)
