Today I am sharing one of my pink roses called “The Fairy” rose. It is a very hardy polyantha shrub rose and blooms from spring to fall….. I planted a few of them 5-10 years ago… and (almost) ignore them…and they are gorgeous!
and a closer look at the number of blooms….
and a closer look of the roses…..
can you say gorgeous?
Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog and don't forget to visit Beverly’s blog How Sweet the Sound to see more pink!

Those roses are so beautiful. I see where a lot of landscape designs use the fairy rose. I was going to get another Knock Out, but I just may try the fairy rose. I like that you say it's a repeater.
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful Susan! How many do you have planted together? I think I have 2 polyantha roses in the front yard. I'm constantly battling black spot in front & pruned a Henry Fonda & the smaller rose way back. A good dose of a systemic fertilizer & they both have buds on them. ☺ Diane
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty and pink :) Roses are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Allison

Hi Susan, this post reminded me of my father in law. Sadly, he has been gone for awhile now. When we used to take walks in Colo. Sprgs, when came across this fairy rose. He admired it so much and so my husband and I bought him one for Father's Day. What a great memory, thankyou so much, and Happy Pink Saturday, Char

Susan, Your roses are just stunning! I have one pathetic pink bloom, I've just about given up on roses but I'm going to give it one more shot with the knockout roses.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and visiting, I would love to participate in Your outdoor Wed this week. Sounds like fun! Mary
Bonjour Susan, Lovely pictures. Like you I planted The Fairy. It is a lovely, exquisite, charming, simple pink rosebush. Alas, with no perfume but the gorgeous blooming excuses it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday! They ARE gorgeous roses.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the Flag Day post, too!
Wonderful roses - especially if you can ignore them and they look this great. Happy PS!
ReplyDeleteSusan,
ReplyDeleteThe Pink Fairy Rose is my Favorite. That is why I named my Pink Cottage the Pink Fairy Cottage. I planted alternating Pink Fairy Roses and lavender all along the path. It looks so cute. I'm glad I'm not the only one who adores this beautiful rose.
xo Cathy
I love pink fairy roses. Our neighbor has a large bush on her lawn, and I just love driving by to look at them. There is something cottagey and magical about them. Yours are lovely.
