Hi Susan,

Loved your flowers! :) I always love to see everyone's Outdoor Wednesday posts... and I would love to join in, if I may. (It is my first time!) http://huckleberryprairie.blogspot.com/2009/06/outdoor-wednesday-texas-scenery.html
ReplyDeleteI love lantana -- but alas, I don't have any this year in the garden.
ReplyDeleteI've got an Outdoor Wednesday post:
http://linesfromlinderhof.blogspot.com/2009/06/gardens.html
I love lantana! Your photographs are beautiful! Last spring I bought 6 little plants for under $25. Planting them was so much easier than dozens of bedding plants. By summer my patio was surrounded with blooms. They didn't mind the heat or lack of rain. The blooms lasted until frost and the plants were two feet tall. Lantana give lots of bang for the bucks and requires very little effort!

Gosh what a lot of work for you because of stinky Mr Linky. I have to say that Lantanas are the most trouble free, sun loving butterfly attracting plant there is. Yours are beautiful.

ReplyDeleteHi Susan, I'm back for another week of Outdoor Wednesday. Last week was such fun!
ReplyDeleteI love your lantanas! It's funny because in my post this week I wrote about hiking at Weedon Island and everything was green — no color. But, every once in awhile we would run across a wild lantana freely roaming through a sea of green.

Quess it is better later than never. I was having some computer problems and then needed to download a free photo program called Picassa and then had to learn new things. Whew! I am fond of lantanas the multicolors are fantastic. I will look into this plant for Mid-West planting season and see if it grows here. Always something to look up online. What fun it is to blog and meet all these new friends. Here is my entry: http://lightandvoices.blogspot.com/2009/06/610-outdoor-wednesday-22.html. I thank you for all your hard work every week without it OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY would not exist.
