Today is Tablescape Tuesday, hosted by Susan and her blog Between Naps on the Porch. Let’s go into the kitchen and find a place to sit down …….
I wanted to use Mr. Rooster as the centerpiece……so I grabbed a platter and placed Mr. Rooster on it and then found Mrs. Chicken… and even added a few eggs (mainly so I could see Mr. Southern Daydreamer roll his eyes, lol)
The table is set….come sit down!
The rooster salad plates continue the rooster theme. I found these at Hobby Lobby.
Under the salad plate is the napkin (looks like it needs a little ironing)……
and the dinner plate….
The dinner plate and platter used in the centerpiece are Bordallo Pinheiro. I have picked up a few pieces here and there (Marshalls and Roses). I really like the texture of the dishes.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting my Tablescape Tuesday and don't forget to visit Susan's blog Between Naps on the Porch to see more wonderful table settings!

The colors are really warm and inviting! Thanks so much for sharing this tablescape on this TT. I'm looking forward to participating in an outdoor Wednesday sometime! Susan
How cute. You really ran with the rooster idea and created an original tablescape. The colors are rich, warn and inviting. I can imagine a beautiful fire going in the fireplace and some nice mulled wine before dinner, maybe an herb roasted chicken? (no offense to Mr. Rooster :) )

I love your roosters, and your tablecloth oh yah and everything. My daughter lives in Oklahoma and she always takes me to Hobby Lobby when I visit. We always have so much fun there looking for treasures for me to bring home.
ReplyDeleteRoosters make the best centerpieces. Of course, I am one of those rooster people, so I would think that. :) The dinner plates work so nicely to tie it all together. Lovely table.
ReplyDeleteI am a rooster lover and love your tablescape! It's so cute:-)
ReplyDeleteDo you have an infinite number of dishes? Every week it's a whole different look. I'd love to play along with this, but I have like, 2 sets of dishes. Paper and plastic. No clue what I'll do if we have company.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I might give it a go next week. Remind me?
I adore your rooster centerpiece and the rooster plates are to die for. Love em!
