What a difference a week makes!
The Cherry Blossom Festival is this week. Somehow, each year, the cherry trees seem to know when the festival is here. I took this photo last week……..
Here is the same spot this week….
Makes me wish I could paint or draw! (Fifi and Helene where are you?)
And here are some more pictures of the balloons I posted about on Monday…but these are in the evening……
and some wisteria I saw driving down the road (yes, I took this while driving)
I had to turn around to go back for a better picture (and my child thought I had lost my mind)……..
but wasn’t it worth stopping the car and getting out for a better picture?

ReplyDeleteHi Susan! The cherry blossoms are such a lovely treat and the shots you got of the balloons are gorgeous!! Love it all. Happy Outdoor Wednesday to you!
ReplyDeleteLook at those beautiful, magnificent trees! That in a photo, in person I'm sure they took your breath. And I do so love wisteria. Don't have any out here, but my mother has some in town, must see if it is blooming yet.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Susan, for your generous hosting.
Love wisteria and your pictures are a delight!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of the cherry blossoms -- those are really the best Met Monday! What a transformation. But that is spring -- nothing one day and an amazing display the next!
Whoa! What an amazing transformation in only a week! I think some year I will have to schedule a little vacation during cherry blossom time. I went to the DC area during this time one year while I was in college, and it was just beautiful. Yep, gonna have to schedule this some year soon!
ReplyDeletew00t! It's WEDNESDAY!
