3/21 Pink Saturday

Pink Saturday

I am going to work out in the yard this weekend. I am looking forward to seeing my pink peonies bloom! No signs of them yet!

    Happy Pink Saturday! I love it when all the azaleas bloom in spring...for a few weeks every garden looks is so full of bright colors.

  7. I loved my peonies but when we had our house at the lake "lifted" two springs ago, I lost them (the marshy ground caused the house to sink!!)

    I will have to start over again (these peonies were over 20 years old). But it's worth it!

    I am anxious to see your garden when all things are in bloom...the Encore azaleas are a favorite of ours with 28 of them in our yard.

    Love this post. Azaelas are so pretty when in bloom. Your post with the bradford pears was beautiful. I did a similar post. I thought of cotton candy when I looked at the row of trees.

  18. Peonies are one of my favorite flowers and your pink ones are gorgeous! We have a huge, old tree in our yard that sprouts tiny pink flowers each year before it sprouts leaves. I'll have to take a photo of it because in 5 years, I've never been able to identify what type tree it is!

  35. Happy First Week of Spring to you too! Your azeleas are beautiful! Mine didn't make it a couple of years ago. I think the deer had the munchies! lol I to have pink and white peonies. Mine don't usually bloom until around Mother's Day. I need to move mine again. We moved them a couple of years ago to do some major yard work and now I would like to move them back. Not sure if I should wait and move then after they bloom or before they bloom????
