……..and Happy Birthday Grandmom
If my maternal grandmother were still alive, she would have been 106 years old today! She has been gone over 20 years. I thought I would share some old pictures of her…….
My grandmother (on right) with her sister who died in 1918 flu epidemic……
My maternal grandmother’s family about 1915. Front row sitting (left to right) are my great-great grandmother, Virginia, her daughter, my great grandmother, Emily (Emma), and my great-grandfather George.
And my grandmother when she met my grandfather in the late 1920s….
I need to go through more boxes of photos to find later pictures. She did NOT like to have her picture taken (and she was NOT one to have angry at you)…..
Gone, but not forgotten….
Susan,
ReplyDeleteThat was a nice pictorial tribute to your grandmother.
I'm looking for blogs about laundry rooms and I know I've seen quite a few, but can't remember who posted them. Can you remember?

ReplyDeleteHappy St. Paddy's Day Susan,
ReplyDeleteMy Grandmother's birthday was March 17th also, her name was Anne. Mine was yesterday, and if I would have been born the 17th, I would have been named Patricia Anne, but I couldn't wait. ;) My Father was Italian, so the Irish name didn't go well with the Italian last name, but my Mother would have given me the name anyhow, if I had waited.
