Between now and the end of December…. I want to include/encourage everyone to share their outdoor AND indoor Christmas (Holiday) decorations for Outdoor Wednesdays.
Greenery in the form of trees, wreaths and garland are from outside…… and they are inside for the holidays… yes, I am stretching the definition of Outdoor Wednesday…. but I can!!!
Other Outdoor photos are welcome (as usual).
----------------------------------------------------------
It is December! The kids and I headed to get a tree. They had lots of trees to pick from…
and wreaths too….
The kids checked out the trees…
and tried to agree on which one was “the one”….
Finally, it looked like we had found our tree…
It looked good on all sides…
and of course I made them stand still for a picture with the tree….it is a tradition!
Now to get it to the house…..
Hopefully, I will have pictures of it decorated soon!

Wow that is a big one, very lovely. I am sure everybody enjoys not only the product but the process of doing it! It is also a very good bonding moment for them.
ReplyDeleteI really miss the smell of a real tree! We had our worst fights putting up the tree...it always fell over and my husband would get frustrated and I would get mad because he was a grouch! I have to say, things did get more pleasant when we switched to faux, but it really just isn't the same!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous tree. I haven't put one up like that in ............ a decade or longer. I miss it (sort of)! Thanks for hosting Outdoor Wednesday. xo
ReplyDeleteThat is one beautiful tree. I love the scent of Christmas trees and can almost smell this one through the computer screen.
ReplyDeleteWow, a great tree. It is so unfamiliar to see people in t-shirts picking out their Christmas Tree! Here in the great White North (Canada) our trees are covered in snow, and we are wearing about 4 layers of clothing!
ReplyDeleteA merry tree for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteGreat tree. Our stuff is going up this weekend! I'm participating for the first time today!
