The sun peeked out for a little while today so while I was out running errands I took a few pictures.

I love the statues.. almost makes me want to grab a book and join it….

but I think my cartwheel days are past..

It was so nice to see happy flowers in the sun…

I think I stayed a little longer to enjoy them…

but had to leave them behind to finish my errands for the day!

We were recently in Sandersville, Georgia and I took some pictures of the kaolin. Sandersville is known as the “Kaolin Capital of the World.” One of Georgia’s most important minerals, kaolin is a white, alumina-silicate clay used in hundreds of products ranging from paper to cosmetics to the nose cones of rockets. Kaolin is also used in medicines, paints and many other products.
