3/14 Pink Saturday

Pink Saturday It’s Pink Saturday, hosted by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound. Be sure to visit Beverly's blog to see a complete list of all the participants in today's Pink Saturday. (clicking on picture will open a link to her site in a new window)

Today I am sharing a picture that has some faint pink shades in the cheeks….  of my maternal grandfather and great-grandmother. This picture was done in 1898, shortly after my grandfather was born. It is one of my favorite family photos!

Florence Freeman Nicholls and Robert Freeman Nicholls 1899

Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog and don't forget to visit Beverly’s blog How Sweet the Sound to see more pink!

THAT IS JUST AWESOME....IF I WAS SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE SUCH A FAMILY HEIRLOOM I WOULD HAVE THE ORIGINAL SAVED IN FIRE PROOF...MOISTURE PROOF....ENCLOSURE AND HAVE A REPLICA HANGING...THAT IS FOR GENERATION UPON GENERATION.......OH HOW TRULY BLESSED YOU ARE.....IT MAKES ME CRY WITH JOY......BUT THEN I BUY PICTURES AT ESTATE SALES THAT NO ONE WANTS BECAUSE TO ME THEY ARE VALUABLE...MY FAMILY ON EITHER SIDE HAS NO SUCH FAMILY PHOTO.
