My roses have started to bloom and the English Roses (David Austin roses) are really looking (and smelling) wonderful this year! They have managed to be very disease resistant in my yard so have survived! Hard to pick a favorite of the ones blooming right now.. and I wish you could smell them ….heavenly!

So gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing, and for getting us all together for OUtdoor Wednesday. It's one of my favorite parts of the week. Have a great rest of your week.
ReplyDeleteYour roses are beautiful! I've never been that good at growing them although I still try. I'm trying to root cuttings from a rose Mother had in front of the house where we grew up. My sister had dug it up and planted it in her yard and this year it has really been prolific. I hope I can get it started here. It is a climbing red rose, and blooms from May through the first frost. I have no idea the name of it or where it originated. Mother didn't buy flowers as a rule, just planted those given to her by others.
ReplyDeleteMama Bear
Oh Susan, I am swooning! Those roses are fantastic -- and I adore that first one, the apricot Graham Thomas. Wow!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid they'd end up as deer food around here.

I'm not sure my link showed up -- can't find it in the far right column of numbers, but that's OK.
Is it raining in your part of the world? It just won't let up around here.
