Hi Susan! I'll check back tomorrow and see if your images are visible. I'm so ready for fall but we've got heat again, Santana Winds, and more fires. Hopefully the fires will be under control soon. Have a wonderful 1st week of Autumn Susan!!
ReplyDeleteHey Susan,
ReplyDeleteThanks for being our hostess, I'll check back for your pics later. Cindy
I am seeing your pics and they are gorgeous. I am having a little trouble adding my post though.
ReplyDeleteCarolyn
Oh my goodness! What beautiful colors! I'm in awe and so jealous of your beautiful area. As you will see when you come to my poetry reading of the "Hippy Bees" we still have nothing but green, green, green.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting :-)
amazing colors! fall always amazes me since we don't have fall/autumn here.
ReplyDeletei hope you have time to visit my first Outdoor Wednesday.
Susan, what beautiful photos. Ours are just now starting to turn, each time I leave the house I take my camera so I won't miss a moment of this beautiful fall. I hope this finds you doing well. Thanks for hosting this event weekly darling. Come by to see me when you get a chance. hugs ~lynne~
ReplyDeleteGood morning Susan, I love all of the fall colors you have shown us here ...Helen, Georgia must be a great place to visit this time of the year..
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures Susan.
ReplyDeleteI hope it is OK. I posted about some local outdoor workers. Quite fun experience for me.

ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS foilage photos! I wish the leaves changed like this in So Cal... le sigh!
ReplyDeleteSusan, I'm so glad the photos are now showing. These are amazing! It's wonderful for this TX girl to see some real fall color. Thanks for hosting this day. I always enjoy it. I've linked to the QCI site for a look at the Texas French Embassy here in Austin. Hope you get a chance to take a look. ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteHi Susan!
ReplyDeleteYour autumn photos are lovely! I posted photos from our recent trip to Yellowstone National Park. I hope you enjoy seeing them!
Hugs, Pat
Oh how I wish I didn't have to travel so far to see colors like that! We visited Southern Illinois last mid-October and I saw my first real fall colors! Being a teacher and in the classroom during these months (all of my life, so it seems), I never got to travel during the fall foliage time. Southern California just doesn't compare!!! These are stunningly beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteI not sure what I love more Autumn or Spring. But the best thing is now that I am a blogger is that I get to enjoy both at the same time by popping over to you.
All the Wisteria is out in my town at the moment and I love it so much, come and have a look.
xxx Coty
All your pictures are working now! They are stunning... i cant believe that the colors have changed so dramatically already...
ReplyDeleteWe are just starting to turn.
If you have a moment I would love you to stop by!!
Thank you always for your hosipitalilty.

Susan Those photo's are so beautiful. What a wonderful country you live in. Have a nice day
ReplyDeleteRiet
Amazing colours! They are beautiful pictures. Happy Outdoor Wednesday. :)
ReplyDeleteWow...just WOW!!
ReplyDeleteOur area doesn't change that much this time of year...we get our Autumn colors around town in WINTER.
But I DO have a photo of 'our area' and then some today, posted! The link I left on the Mr. Linky list is the permalink to Wednesday's post.
Love the colors against the sky! I am a first time visitor and participant. Thanks so much for organizing and running Outdoor Wednesday. It is such a great way to find other bloggers with the same interests!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you have so much color already! Usually the color changes start in the North and gradually move South right? Maybe I have that wrong - but here in Western NY , yesterday was the first day I started to see the colors (on the first day of Fall of course?) Hopefully I will have more Fall color shots soon!
We have just a sprinkling of color in Vermont now. It should change soon. That would be an excellent time to join in! Will try.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful fall photo's, we have nothing like that here in Normandy, thanks for sharing & for being such a gracious hostess.

Hi Susan, I love seeing the fall colors in the Georgia mountains. Its like a beautiful painting every where you look.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful views and for hosting Outdoor Wednesday...
Have a delightful day,
Pam :)
What beautiful pictures. I just love this time in the Georgia mountains. Thanks for sharing and hosting Outdoor Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful color you have there already! We don't get nearly that kind of display here, it's much more subtle. And this year I doubt we'll have even that with the drought. But we have had 2 days of good, steady rain - yippee! Lake Travis is now only down 31 feet lol. Hope you are having a wonderful week. Kathy (PS - posted my summer reading challenge list - it was fun!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors in thsoe leaves. Our trees are still green as envy but by the end of the month they should be showing off really nice! Come by and check out my OW photos of the local nursery.
ReplyDeleteOh just makes me want to snuggle by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate. Lovely colors on your hills and along the lanes.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a warm, cozy day ;-)
Wow, that's really gorgeous! Our color is just getting started here - summer is hanging on a little late this year. (Goody!) Last year it was so dry, all the leaves just turned brown and fell off the trees very early. Very depressing. We're hoping for a better display this year, but we definitely won't get anything like your amazing colors.
ReplyDeleteSusan, so glad you got the pictures working. They are simply too beatiful to have missed. What a lovely time of the year and your photos are super good.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are just beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing them with us and thank you for hosting outdoor Wednesday.
I had trouble adding my link last night and see today that I added it 3 times! I'm sorry for the mix up. I guess it takes awhile for the link to show up. I'll know that for next week. Have a great day. Amy
I actually posted this yesterday, but it is such an awesome OW that i just had to tag along to day.

Hello Susan,
ReplyDeleteWhat month were these made? We are going to that area for a vacation in October. I can hardly wait. The colors are awesome.
Mama Bear
WOW ... amazingly COLORFUL Fall Views!!! It's still summer here in Southern California and I've shared ocean views at Happily Retired Gal and Sacred Ruminations this week.
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Susan, what magnificent photographs. Our leaves are suddenly changed, it seems to have happened overnight. We still have a way to go though, probably by October 12th the peak of the Fall in New England.
ReplyDeleteKaren
Susan, I just stopped back to say, as I was visiting the first blog on your list in Georgia and she showed the photographs of the flood, how your Outdoor Wednesday is more than just a fun event. It is a way for all of us to peek inside places and learn about what is happening. Up close and personal and much much better than what we learn on the news.
ReplyDeleteKaren
Hello Susan,
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful! Such color. Here in Florida, we do not have that much color yet.
I added my link last night (No. 116) and received a visitor but I see today that it not listed so I added it again. Not sure what happened...
I am enjoying my first participation in Outdoor Wednesday and look forward to participating on a regular basis.
Thank you very much for hosting Outdoor Wednesday.
~ Tracy
So lovely fall. I love those leaves in such a pretty colors.
ReplyDeleteGreat fall colors! Wow, where you live turns a bit earlier then here in Wisconsin I think....
ReplyDeleteWow! The colors!!! Your pics just took my breath away!!!
ReplyDeleteThis event is so much fun :)
Have a great day,
Val
Just stunning! I don't think fall will ever arrive here so these photos are a treat to my eyes!
ReplyDeleteRobin
Susan,
ReplyDeleteJust Beatuiful! Can't wait to see the vibrant & colorful leaves soon...Not weeing them yet in Mississippi...Praying for you all....Happy Outdoor...Smiles and Hugs.Katherinellen
I realy really LOVE the colors, MB
ReplyDeleteOne word suffices. Breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
So beautiful, fall. I hate summer ending but it is hard to complain when all those leaves just randomly turn into a picture perfect scene. Your photos are great! My grandmother used to say that mother nature knows the perfect color schemes. She was right!
ReplyDeleteStunning fall pictures. I do like it when Mother Nature puts her gaudy clothes on, and goes all out. Can you imagine anyone else wearing all those brilliant colors at once and looking so good?
ReplyDeleteCass
Susan, the fall pictures are gorgeous. We don't have any colors like that in our area, but we do have beaches! I so enjoyed your pictures and thank you for hosting Outdoor Wednesdays.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely glorious! I love your north GA mountains...and Helen is such a lovely little community. It's been years since I was there.
ReplyDeleteHopefully these colorful leaves will still be around until late October when we head to Alabama.
BTW- My photos were taken this week...temp. has been in the mid 90s. But today, while walking the dogs, I noticed browned leaves on the ground. Hey, that's fall in Central/Coastal FL.
Revel in the colors of the season...and jump in a pile of leaves for me!
Jane (Artfully Graced)
I love the beautiful fall colors. The vineyards here in the wine country are just starting to change. I hope to get pictures later when there is more color.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics of the N. Ga. mountains. I'm from Marietta, so know it well. I'm so ready for some cooler weather this year.
ReplyDeletebeautiful photos...we don't have much of a season change here...the leaves are on one day..gone the next...usually the end of oct 1st of NOv.
ReplyDeleteBerautiful! Were those pictures taken this year? Leaves have not started changing here yet.
ReplyDeleteSusan, these beautiful Autumn pics just take my breath away!
ReplyDeleteBig TX Hugs,
Stephanie

what beautiful pictures I love fall
ReplyDeleteSusan, I have been to Helen, can't remember why, but was there. Pictures are beautiful. We are in VA and the leaves have just barely in a few places started turning, we are disappointed.
ReplyDeleteBarbara
It's definitely fall there. Beautiful colors and photos! Hope you're doing ok, Susan!...Christine
