As promised snow pictures from March 1, 2009…. SNOW in Georgia! It started to snow in the afternoon. Doesn’t the flowering plum look pretty?
After a few hours of snow it was starting to lean…..
but looked pretty dusted with snow…. 
The neighborhood was covered in white…..

It is beautiful, and I love your little snowman. It didnt snow today. I am keeping my fingers crossed that snow is done here in Indiana! I am ready and waiting to bring out those flip flops!

Hi Susan...love seeing your snow pics! We don't get much of that white stuff in good ole Georgia...do we? Definitely cause for some excitement! ReplyDeleteA snowy day is always beautiful. I think you folks in the south are getting more snow than us folks up north. It only snowed three times this winter and didn't even last the day. But is sure is cold. No sign of anything sprouting yet.

I have a post this week on our old country garden in Robertson where we used to live before moving to where we are now.
Vogue Australia fashion team came and did a winter fashion shoot years ago. It was great fun to have them visit, come and have a look.

Those pictures are beautiful! And priceless since we just don't see much snow here in the ATL! I live just outside Marietta and we got pouring snow for 3 hours then it moved out with nothing left on the ground! My little heart was broken, so I'm thrilled to see your neighborhood covered in the white fluff!

Beautiful, Susan! I can't get over the fact that these scenes are in Georgia! And there are friends in Alabama and Mississippi with the same beautiful snow. It didn't make it to Florida (not our part), but I'm really kind of glad. Tropical plants + snow = not a good combo. But I certainly enjoyed seeing your shots of snow!

Look at all that snow! We saw a few flurries early in December but nowadays spring seems to have arrived early. The high today is supposed to be 74! It's amazing.
ReplyDeleteSnow in Georgia, hey? How often does that happen?? It's always so wonderful to watch snow falling from the sky - and it's beautiful in the yard & trees. I so enjoy sitting in my by the fire in our living room and watching the world become white (while I'm nice and warm). But... fantasy over... I'm sooo not a fan of the white stuff lasting longer then a day!! Winter has it's way, though!! :-)
