Oh my, post #100 already??? I didn’t know! I started blogging December 14, 2008…and here I am at #100! Thanks everyone for your comments and encouragement…. for YOU are the reasons I keep blogging!
It’s time for Tablescape Thursday hosted by Susan and her blog Between Naps on the Porch! The dining room table is set for Spring………
My green Bordallo Pinheiro green cabbage plate collection has grown. I have a few more serving pieces……'
and look at this cute Salt and Pepper shaker I found at Cracker Barrel! One carrot is salt and the other is pepper….. is that cute….or what? (Walk don’t run and get one)
And the place setting (oops forgot to take the picture after I put the silverware out!)…..
Thanks for stopping by and visiting my Tablescape Thursday and don't forget to visit Susan's blog Between Naps on the Porch to see more wonderful table settings!

ReplyDeleteHappy Day, bj
I love your cabbage bowls; and the s&p shaker is so festive. I am dying to hear about your husband's excursion to BL and your dishes. None of my white ones were broken, but the black set was shattered. Kathleen at Cuisine Kathleen has these same dishes, and she said to be sure and check for damage. I can't GET OVER the hugeness of the dinner plates.
ReplyDeleteLove the cabbages and that is the cutest salt and pepper. Didn't realize that the cabbage was so Easter -- hmmmm . . .
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,

Just love that setting. All springy and w/ StPatty's day around the corner the cabbage is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI started collecting the Bordallo green dishes too and love them. I don't have nearly as many pieces as you have there but I always keep my eyes peeled. The green Bordallo dishes with the bunny's are adorable too, perfect for Easter...I think I need a visit to TJ Maxx/Marshall's this weekend!
ReplyDeleteWell, I am back to finally leave a message, I have tried several times, but blogger was not letting me!! Anyways, I love those lettuce/cabbage dishes. In fact, I had some in a cart at Ross a couple years ago. But then I thought, no I better not....and I haven't quit telling my husband about it yet. Seriously, he says...am I going to hear the lettuce dishes story AGAIN??

ReplyDeleteFor some reason I can not figure out how to post a comment on your blog. I tried, but in the space for commenting, I am unable to type.
Anyway... I am glad I found your email and can send you a comment here in lieu of on the blog.
You have very lovely taste and your tablescapes are always refined and very clean and uncluttered. I appreciate that you have fine taste and that everything is so very well chosen. The green dishware that you used is divine, I have a few pieces of it too and adore how it adds such nice texture to a tablescape. the bunnies are precious too!! They add such sweetness to the table. As a photographer I also appreciate your images... they're very well done... and thats a rare thing on blogs most times. Thanks so much for sharing, please excuse me for not having commented in the past, you have had some truly wonderful tablescapes!
Sincerely,
Katy (Plucky)
