----------------------------------------------------------

They were filming an alien invasion movie downtown last week (called 5th Wave). It was interesting to watch a street lined with small businesses and quaint shops transformed into a post-apocalyptic time….

They had what was called “a controlled bus explosion” on the street…. that went awry…. and blew out many of the windows on both sides of the street. Apparently no one was hurt. Most of the business owners rushed to check on damages to their shops. I hope they got the whole thing on film. I don’t think anyone would agree to a second take!

The street was returned to pre-filming conditions after they were finished. It was fascinating to watch!

  7. Good morning Susan, I am taking advantage of the cold weather inbound time to step up my blogging again. It is so good to be back.

This is a fascinating post. No wonder it takes millions to make a movie these days. Great photos.
