I hope everyone is having a great summer. I was out driving and stopped to take a couple pictures of a lake and the geese stopped by to see if I had anything to eat. Next time I will have to take some bread with me!

Hi Susan
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry if my post comes up twice --I didn't see the link come up so I thought I entered it wrong.
Yes, next time you will have to bring some treats for the geese ;)
Hugs, Pat
Mu Mom lives on a small lake that is home to many ducks and geese. A family of geese nest in her yard each year and it is so much fun to watch the little ones grow up. Thanks for hosting and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Susan and Bentley

I'm sure the geese will forgive you ..... this time. Great pics!
ReplyDeleteSorry! I linked up wrong! Hope you are having a great day:) Nice pictures!
ReplyDeleteI hope those geese can deal with this heat! I always wonder how the extreme heat we are having affects the birds and animals.
ReplyDeleteLiving across from a creek, I see the geese daily but I don't dare feed them! They're already too comfortable in my yard and driveway. I have to be careful where I step :) Glad you enjoyed your time by the lake. Thanks for hosting.

A place to spend a lovely afternoon. We have geese at our neighborhood pond, and they love to visit the houses who feed. Thank goodness we live just far enough away they don't visit here. Same situation Lynn refers to. Ha, I love to watch them and take them food at the pond.......Thanks for hosting.

Those geese look like they mean business! Next time bring food.
ReplyDeleteAt our last home, which was right along a river, we had loads of geese, but not the Canada sort -- they were big fat white snow geese, like barnyard geese, they they were SUCH characters. They totally ruled the neighborhood.
I miss them!
Now we have chipmunks!
Cass
