The Georgia Peach Festival was June 3 through June 11 and activities took place in both Byron and Fort Valley. There were concerts and fireworks. The festival ended with the World’s Largest Peach Cobbler

[Note: The 11-foot wide treat took over five hours to cook and contained ninety pounds of butter, 150 pounds of sugar and flour, 32 gallons of milk, and 75 gallons of peaches].

  8. I have never been to Georgia. One of those 'I want to go to sometime' places. Yum! I love peach cobbler. I have a great from scratch recipe. Would not want to have to make one that big though. Thanks for letting us link up.

  18. Susan, its a lot of fun going to peach festivals. One of my families favorite desert is Peach Cobbler........oh my goodness. Maybe a little ice cream on the side too.

  50. Peach anything is my favorite treat! I was born in Michigan and peaches are also a big deal there. I remember growing up and always having sliced peaches on my morning cereal. YUM Love your photos you shared
