Looks like a fun time. I'm surprised by how light the crowd turnout looks. I haven't been to a baseball game in year. Always enjoyed going but not watching them on tv. Go figure. :)

Your afternoon at the ball field looks like a fun one. Thank you for hosting this weekly event.
Cathy
My husband and boys were at a game there in 2001. I'm not a baseball fan, but I'm glad they had fun.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day! There is nothing that says summer to me more than a day at the ballpark. I love to go to games in person, can't stand to watch them on TV (except the World Series) Haven't been this year because it's just been too darn hot. Happy Outdoor Wednesday! Kathy
ReplyDeleteHi, Susan..so hope things are better now with your MIL and the family. Thanks so much for keeping this wonderful day going for us. I appreciate it and know everyone else does too.

Great pictures and when you think of the outdoors and summer you think of baseball!
ReplyDeleteI have been to a number of minor league games and two Philly games. I was in the corporate suite for the Philly games. I'm no longer with that company, so it's back to the minor's.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteBaseball certainly says Summertime! I've been thrilled, though, to see some football sneaking into view. Love football!
Your photos are great! You must have had good seats.
Becky K.
I went to two games in my life...and it was cold cold cold both times!!! It looks like you had great seats for these photos are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSusan- We are Braves fans who live where most people are Cardinals fans. We have not been in a while, but really enjoy seeing them play. It's a great stadium and a fun trip. Great post and thanks for hosting!

Hi Susan! Go Braves! We have our G Braves nearby now! Such fun! Happy rest of the week!...Debbie
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! My good friends Sweetness and DIva went to that game. Sweetness cousin plays for the Braves. Look like alot of fun. There is nothing like baseball in the summertime.

Looks like fun. My compliments to your daughter. I've not been to a baseball game in much too long ;--)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Love baseball. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteOh baseball, the season that goes on forever doesn't it. I'm not a fan but I know I am in the minority.
ReplyDeleteNow give me a basketball game and I will be all over it.
Thanks for hosting. Check out my new blog design.
Those are great pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Outdoor Wednesday :)
Warm regards from South America,
Val
What a great way to have an outdoor family outing. Your daughter did a very good job capturing all the game actions. A nice, different post.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteShe took some great photos. Baseball is such a Normal Rockwell old fashioned lovely family event. My girls always love to go to Red Sox games. I am from NYC, so I am still a Yankee fan at heart.
Have a great Outdoor Wednesday.
Karen
I bet it was hot & humid there too. Although you guys have gotten more rain than we have! Our summer seems never ending. Thanks for sharing the photos. My boys love to watch the Ranger. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThe boys of summer :) There's nothing like going to a baseball game on a beautiful day! Is tailgating as popular there as it is at our Brewers games?
ReplyDelete~Susan
Cool outdoor pictures, Susan!
ReplyDeleteDamn, there are no flowers or anything on that field!
ReplyDeleteJustine :o )
Terrific -- the great American game! Your daughter took good pictures! Nice. (I borrowed some pics from my daughter, too, today.) Baseball is one of the few sports I actually will watch on TV. Haven't been to a game in person since we lived in Pittsburgh, went to a Pirates V. NY Mets game, and I rooted for the Mets. Who won. And I lived.
ReplyDeleteGlad your team won! Cass
Does it get any more summery than green grass and baseball? Your daughter is a very talented photographer! :O)
ReplyDeleteHi Susan!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you and your family had a wonderful day! Be sure to tell your daughter how much we all enjoyed her photos. She has a good eye!
Baseball is not my favorite sport, but I am fast becoming a fan of the Rays in Tampa Bay. These guys are actually fun to watch! (and it's a good thing I am learning to enjoy...there's a game on TV almost daily...and Hubby loves to warch!)
Jane (artfully graced)
Ooh, we Floridians took a beating here, didn't we? Great pictures though. Hope you are doing well dear Susan.
ReplyDeleteXOSue
I LOVE baseball so I enjoyed your Braves' pictures! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove going to a Braves game. We were fortunate to get to go to a World Series game the year the Braves won it all. I remember all of the Native Americans protesting because the Braves were playing the Cleveland Indians.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this event!! Your pictures of the baseball game bring back many fond memories. I'm a mother to a 26 yr. old son who played baseball from age 4 until age 23. He was drafted out of high school to play pro baseball in the Cleveland Indian Organization. So this brings it all back. He is now a baseball coach! Nothing like spending the day at the ballpark!
ReplyDeleteLove a good baseball game! Thanks for letting me join Outdoor Wednesday for the first time.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long time since I've gone to a baseball game! Thanks for reminding me how much I used to enjoy going! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteAw now Susan, you told me you are from CT...so couldn't you give the RED SOX a little nod?? Although I am a New Yawker, we are Red Sox fans here.
ReplyDeleteBut since you are the lovely hostess..Go, Braves!
I have missed you, hope things are ok there..
Kathleen
PS..shouldn't the number of comments match the number of entries?? Amazing!!
Hello Susan, that looked so fun! I missed out on so many wonderful bloggers, but I'll just have to try to catch up, right?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday, my friend...
Hugs, Chandy
Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful day at the ballpark. We were lucky enough to go to a game there several years ago and it rained. We loved it.. thanks for sharing and hosting.

Excellent garden advice. I'd LOVE to water thoroughly but we're in the midst of a drought and with wildfires burning all over Southern California, water conservation is a must. I try to choose plants that don't need much water these days.
