ReplyDeleteLove the Phlox..., looks like a great ground cover. I hope to find something like it that grows in New England.
ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful Susan. I just love the peony, and the wild indigo looks very similar to our bluebonnets. Thanks for hosting this! Kathy
ReplyDeleteLove all of these. The trick for me is finding which ones the deer won't eat.
ReplyDeleteOh Susan - your pictures and flowers are exquisite. I have never tried to grow any of these in California. I have always wanted to grow peonies. I think I will do some research and see if I can. Thanks for the great post and Happy Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteMaryrose

First thank you for the award and thank you for hosting Outdoor Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are all so pretty. I have never seen a Hellebore and it is a beautiful evergreen. Nor have I seen a Lilafee before. I am enjoying seeing flowers I am not familiar with. The Sorbet Peony is gorgeous!
I sure hope you are feeling better?
Hugs, Beth

ReplyDeleteAlfazema
Beautiful flowers, especially the blue ones !
ReplyDeleteAh, they're ALL so gorgeous, but my two faves here are the peony (holy beautifulness!) and the bleeding hearts.
ReplyDeleteJustine :o )
My Siberian irises have started to bloom - they are always later than my bearded irises. I love that peony!!! :D Jewel
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Susan. I'm partial to the helabore and peonies, but love them all! Have been trying to find hardy geramiums in NC but no luck thus far. Darn!
ReplyDeleteI like the Hellebore best.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures! I love flowers but don't know much about the various perrenials you've featured. I am trying to add more perrenials to my garden rather than so many annuals - I'm hoping this will reduce the number of new plantings I have to do each year :-)! I adore the Peony - my grandmother used to have several of these around her house. They are gorgeous when in full bloom. The phlox and the indigo are two of my favorites because of the color of blooms. Makes me want to head straight to the garden center for more plants! :-)
Warmly,
Alisa
Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteThank you for allowing me to link here. What a wonderful group of blogs!
I love all of these flowers. I should plant me some if I get productive!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow wonderful flowers. I love the Hellebore flower, the color is wonderful. This year I had to plant two new bleeding hearts. Finally I think spring is here as my peony plants are finally blooming.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day and thanks again for hosting this post.

Hi Susan! Lovely GA perennials that you've shared! I need to think about adding some of them in my garden! It's been awhile since I participated in Outdoor Wednesday, but since I'm doing an Outdoor Tablescape this week, I thought I'd make it a doubling duo! ;) I've missed outdoor wednesday, I was just overdoing it with the amount of posts I was working on weekly and had to cut back. I have a full time job and my Beloved was really missing "moi" by his side! But, I'm glad to be back this week! Happy Wed! ~CC Catherine from "Catherine de th`e Cups" (PS, I'm having a really nice Blog Give Away, stop by and enter the drawings beginning today to celebrate Mother's Day if you like) ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time joining the fun of Outdoor Wednesday. I hope I did this permalink thing all right! I hadn't done that before. Thank you for giving us this opportunity. I hope to be back next time. Gardening is a true passion for me.

ReplyDeleteI just learned about Hellebores this past year. And planted my first one in the fall. I'm anxious to see what blooms it produces. We don't grow bleeding heart here, I don't think. I think it's too hot.
