April 22 is Earth Day. Earth Day is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment. It is held annually during both spring in the northern hemisphere and autumn in the southern hemisphere since 1970
To celebrate Earth day, why don’t you plant some annuals in your yard? Do you have a favorite? Here are some of mine!

ReplyDeleteOf all the flowers you listed my favorite is Salvia. I love the deep purple color and I like that stands up. It looks great in pots!

What a great selection of annuals. And as far as petunias, have your tried Vista bubblegum? It is a great petunia! And it's bubblegum pink!

ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful flowers! In the Philippines, lantanas are so prolific that you can stop off the road, grab some with enough roots and you can have your own!

Good morning Susan, beautiful annuals today. I am thinking of planting some new wave petunias this year. I mostly stick to annuals though. Gardening is a chore with these knee replacements. Next year I hope to be over the healing and back to doing whatever I want!!!

Happy Earth Day to you. What a beautiful variety of flowers. Those salvias are one of my very favorite flowers and I always make sure to plant them each year. Such a wonderful variety you have chosen.
ReplyDeleteSusan, love all those annuals. It is still a little chilly in PA to plant these yet. Thanks for the inspirations to get to the greenhouse early. Begonias always remind me of my grandmother, but I don't seem to have much luck with them?
