The laptop I used the most crashed…. sigh…. and my own fault that I had not backed up all the pictures, etc… I knew better… but I lost many pictures I was planning on using. Hopefully, I learned my lesson though, and will back up my files more often now!
Cherry Blossom Festival in town… and the Cherry trees blooms are here …and beautiful! I’ll let them speak for themselves!

This week is the Cherry Blossom Festival in town… but the Cherry trees blooms are not here yet (maybe in the next week or two). Don’t worry, I’ll get some pictures!
The Bradford pear trees, however, are beautiful…. so I will share them this week!

St Patrick’s Day in Savannah, Georgia
Savannah has been celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with parade since 1825. What started out as a modest affair has turned into one of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the country. Savannah’s parade draws crowds of over 400,000 people.
Dying the city’s fountains green is one of the traditions unique to the city. Seeing the green fountains, as spring starts creeping up on the Georgia city is one of the most enjoyable sights you can witness.

The weather was warm today. I think it got up to 73 degrees! Some signs of Spring everywhere!

Yesterday (Monday) it was a beautiful day… 62 degrees and sunny….. felt like maybe Spring was trying to get here….. My Dad and I spent part of the day together running errands and eating lunch…so it was nice that the day was warm!
Today it was raining (with some ice) and the high was 40 …. so I tried to stay inside as much as I could!
My flowering plum tree was trying to bloom…. but I am afraid to see what is left of the pretty blossoms tomorrow……
