Though Helen, GA is only a 70-mile drive from Atlanta, upon arriving there for the annual Oktoberfest, you'd think you had somehow crossed the Atlantic, went over the Alps, and into Bavaria!
Helen's Oktoberfest begins on the second Thursday of September and runs through the first Sunday of November

ReplyDeleteI hate to say that as close as we are to Helen, and having lived several places in GA, I have never been to Helen. I would love to visit though because I love Germany and would love to enjoy that spirit here. Thanks for hosting!!
