We had a “winter storm” this week …so of course I will share some pictures from around town! We don’t get much snow in Georgia…and we got mostly ice..not snow. It looked pretty…. as long as you weren’t trying to drive on it!
Don’t forget to visit other Outdoor Wednesday participants by clicking on their links. Check back later to make certain you visit all the Outdoor Wednesday participants.
HERE ARE THIS WEEK’S PARTICIPANTS:
Oh such beautiful frozen flowers. We got about 3 inches of heave snow today. Perfect to build a snowman if you want to brave 25 degrees! Have a blessed week and thanks for hosting Outdoor Wednesdays. Debbie
ReplyDeleteSnow! I so love it. Of course, I don't live in it. So it is easy to love the beauty and leave the cold and work behind! The poor flowers....
ReplyDeleteLove the one of the flowers in the snow. I grew up in Georgia so I know how much "fun" everyone is having right now. Up here we only have about an inch at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for having this Outdoor Wednesday...i've been a follower for a while, but this is my first time sharing here! Wanted to invite you over to link up to Cottage Flora Thursday's. Looking for other gardeners who want to see and share cottage garden flowers & landscape... xoox
ReplyDeleteLoved your snow pictures!!! I'm sure where you are that any snow is a pleasant surprise!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so cold--BURRRR! These pictures make me miss the snow, I love the shots of the icy roads!
ReplyDeleteLove your snow picture with the pansies. We are enjoying snow here in SC too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks cold and icy! The picture of the yellow pansies sticky up out of the snow is a reminder that spring WILL make an appearance again! :0)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of sleet. Yuck. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an adventure! So sad to see the pansies all frosty:@)
ReplyDeleteIce is worse than snow, that's for sure. Beautiful photos, looks like a pretty downtown area. Thanks for hosting today.

Susan! This just absolutely blows my mind. I can't believe the pictures I've seen of Georgia. It looks like Alaska!!!

The yellow of the flowers really pops under the white snow.
ReplyDeletelove the yellow flower, so pure on the white snow.
ReplyDeleteReally cool outdoor photos. A few look like postcards.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,

The pansies look so cold. Western NC is getting it pretty bad too. Even here in Florida they say we're getting another cold snap and cover the plants. Stay safe and warm
ReplyDeleteIsn't winter grand? beautiful shots from around Georgia
ReplyDeleteIt can be very pretty but I do hope that everyone drives carefully! Stuff happens in the slush and ice
ReplyDeleteTink *~*~*
I'm with Tink, some people just do not respect the weather. I do hope everyone drives carefully. It is pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt looks pretty and slippery. Thanks for sharing, Susan!...Christine
ReplyDeleteWe are getting snow tonight Susan! We may end up with a foot!
ReplyDeletePansies in the snow. It just doesn't seem right, does it? They're beautiful. We got about 2 inches over here in Augusta.

ReplyDeleteJoyce M

LazyonLoblolly
It's a beautiful snowy scene but hard for the drivers who are not familiar with driving in snow and hard on plants.
ReplyDeleteThe snow looks pretty, but I would not like having it around for days..we are cold , but sunny..I shared my grands taking a sled ride down their driveway at their home in Atlanta..this is the third day being iced in for them..
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteSnow is a mess when you don't get it very often, isn't it? Your pictures are pretty, but I feel sorry for those poor little flowers!
Thanks for letting me participate in your linky party.
Stay warm,
Kathy
Poor Pansies... Great photos... you captured how old it is.
ReplyDeleteYikes, stay safe, Susan. Wet snow scares me, thankfully our snow is dry and relatively safe, compared to the wet stuff anyways.
ReplyDeleteThank you for allowing me to join in again.
Hugs, Cindy
