A couple weeks ago I shared pictures of the Warner Robins girls softball team winning the regional title and heading for the softball World Series. This week it’s the boys turn! The Little League Southeast Region Tournament was played last week and a Georgia team is headed for the Little League World Series. The club from Columbus (Georgia) Northern rolled past Florida 9-2 at Southeast Park. The win sends Columbus Northern to the World Series in Williamsport, Pa., for the second time in five years. Columbus Northern won the world championship in 2006.
Before the games began…
Shade…. needed.. it was hot!!
Good crowd….
Congratulations! Good luck in Pennsylvania!

Holy cow that looks hot...... how amazing it is to see all the people out there in that heat supporting the teams! That is so great! I am too much of a pansy, I would have asked for someone to video tape it for me and then watched it in my air conditioned house... LOL

ReplyDeleteWe have the Western Regionals starting very soon here in San Bernardino. People from all the western states come to cheer on their teams.
ReplyDeleteSusan, I love seeing all the support for these talented athletes!!! They look excied to be there.
ReplyDeleteThey have to be soo good to make it this far. My hat goes off to their parents for the time and expense in supporting their sons.
Tonight and through Saturday, our oldest grandson (11) plays in a soccer tournament and they just travel in our state.
