Starting last week…. and going through the end of December…. I am going to include/encourage everyone to share their outdoor AND indoor Christmas decorations for Outdoor Wednesdays.
Greenery in the form of trees, wreaths and garland are from outside…… and they are inside for the holidays… yes, I am stretching the definition of Outdoor Wednesday…. but I can!!!
Other Outdoor photos are welcome (as usual).
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I decorate with many (over 10?) artificial trees…. but I always have one 8-12 foot real (live) tree. A family tradition…for us all to bundle up and head out in search of the perfect tree …… I am very lucky that my children, all in their twenties (age), still enjoy sharing this special occasion with me….. one I will treasure…always!
I don’t think he approves of his sister’s choice…..
Oldest son checking carefully for “holes”…..
Husband, patiently watching…… with youngest son inspecting another tree in background…..
Daughter, not crazy about Mom taking pictures (sorry)…
My wonderful 4 children…. my pride and joy….
I am VERY blessed!
YES! They finally decided on a tree! I’ll post it before/after decorated next week!

One must be sure to have exactly the correct tree.
ReplyDeleteHow fun...I miss having a live tree...I should start getting one for outside...it is essential to find the right one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely family group! It's great that they still like to do things as a family. I do enjoy a live Christmas tree, but unfortunately the hubby is allergic to most fir, pine and cedar - so we've gone completely artificial these days! Looking forward to seeing your before/after photos.

Where does all your energy come from??? Yes, your family is just beautiful and you are indeed a lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteThe look on your sons photo in the first photo made me laugh:) Cute kids. I love the smell of a fresh tree to bring back all the memories of when I was a small child and I use to believe in the man with the red suit. I guess one still needs to believe in that magic! My post has a small amount of outdoor today (2 photos) and the rest is inside but I was so excited I wanted to share it all over the blogs so I hope you do not mind that I posted to your wonderful fun blog this week.

All those trees! You are a woman after my own heart. It is hard to decide on a tree when there's a committee involved! :-) I'm sure the kids made a great choice, and YES it is a blessing to have 20-something children who don't think their parents have cooties.
ReplyDeleteCass
Holy cow, sooooooo many trees to decorate. You must have a zillion ornaments!
