Through the end of December…. I am including/ encouraging everyone to share their outdoor AND indoor Christmas decorations for Outdoor Wednesdays.
Greenery in the form of trees, wreaths and garland are from outside…… and they are inside for the holidays… yes, I am stretching the definition of Outdoor Wednesday…. but I can!!!
Other Outdoor photos are welcome (as usual).
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Today I am showing the dining room decorated for Christmas! There are 3 trees in the dining room… one angel tree and two family (photo) trees. The table is set for Christmas…
The centerpiece… cake plates with assorted decorations on them…. along with two porcelain angels and numerous candles…..
The sideboard… with a peek into the kitchen……
The angel tree…. has an assortment of angels on it…..
There are two family (photo) trees… and they contain pictures of family past and present. I have some older photos of my parent’s grandparents and great grandparents. I even have my mom’s great great grandparents pictures which were dated 1872 in Liverpool England! My husband’s family is rather large… so I have been adding those as I can each year…
It’s alot of fun decorating these two trees each year… and thinking about each person…
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and if traveling… a safe journey!

ReplyDeleteHello Dear Susan!
ReplyDeleteYour dining room is lovely, all that gold and white - so very pretty! What a wonderful idea to have photo trees. We have some pics of the girls over the years hanging on the tree, but I never thought to dedicate one tree to all the relatives. I think that's a really great idea, it must be so fun for you to rediscover the pictures every year, and to add to them.
I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas! All the best to you for a peaceful, happy, healthy and love-filled new year.
XOXO from your blogger friend,
Heidi - Heart and Home
