HERE ARE THIS WEEK’S PARTICIPANTS:
These are such great, caring places. We have a place in Vancouver called Canuck Place sponsored mainly by the local NHL hockey team. It is an old mansion in one of the ritziest parts of the city and it is so full of kindness and support for the families giving them a place to stay while their children receive treatment or hospice care.
ReplyDeleteKudos to them.
Plane pull? ACK my BACK! I am just getting over a 8 week healing process for a low back injury! That is amazing that only that amount of people can pull a plane!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better Susan...

That's really neat, Susan! This is a first as I've never heard of anything like this before.
ReplyDeleteHappy OW and thanks for hosting...
XO,

I've never heard of a plane pull! They certainly deserve to raise lots of money if they can pull that plane, and it's a very worthy cause. Happy Outdoor Wednesday. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool, it must be great fun to watch the teams pulling the plane. The Ronald McDonald house is a very good charity to support.
ReplyDeleteTHAT is amazing!! [When our little 5 month old grandson had open heart surgery....our daughter stayed at a RMH!! They're an amazing charity!!!]
ReplyDeleteMy Outdoor Wednesday is all about a Marshland nearby....waterfowl and Autumn foliage!
Come by & see
What an adventure!
ReplyDeleteI explored the Jogging trail this time.
Thanks for hosting Susan. I hope you're feeling better! The Ronald McDonald house in Austin was a great comfort to some dear friends year ago when their child was seriously ill. They do wonderful work. This contest is a great way to make money! I had no idea that a group of people that small could move something as large as an airliner. Should have paid more attention in physics I guess lol. Kathy
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun event. Would like to see the tugging and cheering! as excitement fills the air.
ReplyDeleteWednesday Blessings ;-)
My daughters have done volunteer projects for Ronald McDonald House but never an airplane pull... interesting!
ReplyDeleteI have volunteered on many projects for our local Ronald McDonald house over the years, but never an airplane pull! How fun that would be!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting Outdoor Wednesday!
