Greenery in the form of trees, wreaths and garland are from outside…… and they are inside for the holidays… yes, I am stretching the definition of Outdoor Wednesday…. but I can!!!

We went to the country Saturday. We had a get together at my mother-in-laws family farm. It was a beautiful day. It was a little cool and windy but nothing like the northeastern United States was facing! Places in New York got over 12 inches of snow! I hope my friends in the Northeast survived the weather okay.

I have lived in the south many years but I had to ask (again) what the grapevines were…. scuppernog.

The house sits on about 200 acres of land. I saw what resembled a little snow on Saturday…

but closer inspection revealed it was cotton…

Looks like snow to me…

Halloween is almost here so I thought I would share a nearby church’s pumpkin patch. My kids still enjoy going to select a pumpkin even though they are all adults now!

I was out running errands this week and decided to take a few pictures of the landscaping around the mall. I like to see what combinations the landscapers use to get ideas for my own yard. You never know where you might get some inspiration!
