In honor of our men and women in uniform past, present, and future, I’d like to share the following video for Veteran’s Day. God Bless and Thank You (and your families).
Lt. Andrew Kinard, a soldier injured in Iraq, introduced Trace Adkins and the West Point Glee Club who performed "Til the Last Shot's Fired." Kinard told the audience, "As you listen to this song, please consider: It's not about the war, it's about the warrior."
What a lovely tribute to our wonderful military.
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful to all military men and women, past and present. La
ReplyDeleteOh Susan, I missed this last week, but so glad I decided to catch up with you today. what a moving song; a 3-tissue one for sure.
ReplyDeleteWe owe so much -- everything, really -- to our people in uniform. God bless them and their families.
My father, Howard's dad, and both my brothers served. We were lucky -- they all came home, unhurt.
See you Wednesday!
