ReplyDeleteHello Susan! Guess what? I made your croissant french toast! Yes I did and it was a hit with my dh! He ate it so quickly that I didn't even have time to grab my plate and join him in the bedroom! LOL
ReplyDeleteMy post is almost done. Hope you can visit soon!

ReplyDeleteSusan, This is dangerous. I can't have this in the house. I will actually wake up and eat it in the middle of the night. It is so refreshing, especially when it is cool. Now I'll have to make this. ~ Robyn

This sounds refreshing for a hot summer day!
ReplyDeleteWe make this but our coconut is not toasted -- and we have no banana -- a good fruit salad and so easy to put together. I'm not sure what our name is but it isn't Tropical Ambrosia -- oh, I remember -- it's 5 cup! (Because each ingredient is a cup!) Good salad -- good choice for Foodie Friday.
ReplyDeleteOh, man I haven't had that in a long time-- very yummy!!
ReplyDeleteMy Aunt Millie would make this all the time and it was a staple at our family gatherings in the summer because it is so refreshing. Thanks for sharing your recipe with me.

ReplyDeleteSusan this is a lovely old-fashioned salad. When the oldies were good they were great and your recipe falls into the great category. We use to have this on the groaning board for all our family holidays. I had forgotten about it - thanks so much for the reminder.

Susan, thank you for remembering today...
ReplyDeleteI do make pansit and lumpias shanghai (the tiny ones), but since dh had to be out of town, I'll have to wait on making lumpias until Monday as I don't have any wrappers. But this recipe link is very close to mine, so come check it out.
I will make pansit tonight in honor of my country's independence Day. I've never written down the recipe, so I will tonight and send you a copy.

ReplyDeleteI am always looking for recipes with a prep time of 10. Sometimes it's the writing that takes up the day, and sometimes it's goat-chasing and fence mending. This fruit salad looks like it took hours to make! Hope you have a great weekend.
