Looking at all the plant catalogs lately…makes me wish Spring would hurry up! What zone are you in?

image

Spring flowering bulbs are flower bulbs and plant bulbs that are planted in the spring and that bloom in the fall. Here are some of my favorites (good for zones 3-9):

Anemone 'Lord Lieutenant'

image

Chinese Astilbe 'Visions in Pink'  (I have a bunch of these)

image

Begonia novelty 'on top pink halo'

image

Butterfly bush

image

Day Lily 'Lacy Doily'

image

Peony 'Sarah Bernhardt' (I think I have 3-4 of these)

  31. Good morning Susan, Lovely flowers to share this morning. I am in between zones 6 & 7. I too am so looking forward to spring. I want to get in the garden and plant flowers and prune and trim and, and, and. Smile. Gardening is a big job and I am happiest when I am outside digging in the dirt and making things beautiful. I think I will join our Garden Club this year. My father loved gardening and my lovely memory is of him standing in the yard each evening, giving his beloved plants a drink.

    Have a blessed day.
