5/16- Pink Saturday- Happy Armed Forces Day

Today is Armed Forces Day so I wanted to show items that were pink and had to do with our Armed Forces…..

Don’t forget to Thank our men/women in uniform for the sacrifices they (and their families) make on a daily basis…. so that we can enjoy our freedom!

    I love the pink military stuff. My daughter would really love it. She was in the army. Now, she is a civilian contractor.

    Thanks for honoring our men and women that so bravely serve our country and fight for our freedom!
    My husband served 30 years as a helicopter search and rescue pilot in the Coast Guard!. I understand a wee bit about the sacrifice.

    This is pretty neat, Susan. Somehow it is not easy to imagine armed forces with pink cause pink is so dainty and I associate armed forces with being fierce and strong. But thanks for the reminder of their service. I appreciate them very much!...Christine

    THANK YOU FOR THIS POST HONORING OUR BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN....I THOUGHT ARMED FORCES DAY WAS TOMORROW...I MAY HAVE TO GO BACK AND EDIT MY POST BECAUSE I SO STRONGLY PRAY EVERY DAY FOR THEM AND THEIR FAMILY.
    I LOVE ALL THE PINK MILITARY THINGS YOU SHOWED. I ASSOCIATE PINK AS A VERY STRONG COLOR BECAUSE MY DAUGHTER AND THOUSANDS OF OTHER WOMEN ARE IN A BATTLE EVERY DAY TO WHIP CANCER'S BUTT.

    Such a great reminder of families that give so much. I was an Air Force pilot's wife. It's good to see the women have brought in some pink now! I suspect it is the wives. Happy Pink Saturday! Jane Wayne gear has lots of cute pink stuff with a military theme. They are/were wives!

    I've been cleaning all day. There always seems to be so much to do. I want to go by Lowe's tomorrow and get some flowers and ferns to hang on the porch.

    John had a very good day. Like his old self. He worked all day.

    We grilled burgers tonight. So good! I haven't had a burger in forever. I've been on a diet and lost 15 lbs so far.
